TULANE FIGHTS COVID-19
COVID-19 Community Research Partnership
Thank you for your interest in learning more about the COVID-19 Community Research Partnership.
Tulane University has partnered with several New Orleans area healthcare providers to learn more about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and how it’s spreading in our community. This is part of a national community-based effort to find out how many people have symptoms using simple online or text message questionnaires and to see how many people may have already had COVID-19. This information helps our local public health officials working to protect us all from COVID-19!
Study participants will complete short online or text message surveys for up to one year. The surveys contain questions about possible exposures, symptoms, and healthcare visits. Some volunteers may also be asked to complete an at-home test kit for antibodies to COVID-19. These antibodies are blood proteins your body makes if you have been exposed to COVID-19.
For this study, participants include patients and employees of Tulane University Affiliated Clinics, DePaul Community Health Centers, and Access Health Louisiana.
